Daniel Porter is the pastor here at Ferndale Community Church. He and his wife Lacy have been married for fourteen wonderful years and have three amazing children, Jayden (15), Ashton (11), and Cally (9).

Daniel is a Combat Veteran and served in the Army as an Infantryman and Sniper team leader before being medically retired from the Army in 2009. After completing his military service, he attended The Kings University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Theology and graduated with honors. Before coming to FCC, he served as an associate pastor for five years and participated in short term mission trips to Mexico and Africa. 

Embracing a family centered approach to ministry, Daniel and Lacy are passionate about reaching communities with the Gospel, empowering people to understand and live from their identity in Christ, and equipping believers to represent Jesus to the people around them. They embrace the reality that this life is an adventure of learning to love like Jesus, and as a result, fully embrace Christ’s invitation to “Follow Me.” 

Daniel, Lacy, and their three children love the outdoors, camping, traveling, and seeking out adventure wherever they go!
